

Juan Humberto Pena passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family on September 26, 2016 at the age 75. His loving wife of 54 years of marriage, Gloria Campos Pena was by his side. Juan and Gloria were inseparable, best of friends, soul mates and high school sweethearts.
He was born to Juan O’Con and Gregoria Pena of San Antonio, Texas where he was raised. He graduated from Fox Tech High School where he learned his trade. Along with his brother, Alfred Pena both continued in their father’s footsteps by becoming a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 67 for over 3 decades.
His hobbies included gardening and cooking with his wife, playing pool with his daughters and watching Dallas football with his son, deer hunting and fishing with his friends and working on his “Honey Do” list.
He is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Gregoria Pena, Guadalupe Montes (sister), Olga R. Pena (sister in law), Andrew Gallardo and John Albert Pena (nephews).
He is survived by his wife, Gloria and children, Rebecca A. Riojas, Patricia Amador, Leticia Pena and Juan H. Pena Jr. as well as his grandchildren: Elizabeth A. Flores (George Mendez), Hermilo Flores III (Audrey), Juan Vincente Flores (Amanda), Tiffany A. De Leon, Joshua Edward De Leon (Katy), Erika Renee Villalpando, Sabrina Nicole Ospina (Juan David), David Anthony and Victoria Nicole Amador. Seven great grandchildren: Jacob, Isabella, Melody, Gloria, Lily, Esmeralda and Liam. Sisters, Mary Alice Barba, Mary Lillian Rodriquez (George) and Juanita Pena. Brother and best friend, Alfred Pena.
Pall bearers: Juan H. Pena Jr., Hermilo and Juan Vicente Flores, Joshua De Leon, David Amador and Juan David Ospina.
We wish him a well deserved rest in the palm of our forgiving Lord. May our new angel continue to watch over us and keep us in line.
A visitation will be held on Thursday September 29, 2016 at 5:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Trevino funeral home at 226 Cupples Rd. A funeral ceremony will be on Friday September 30, 2016 at 10:00 am followed by interment at San Fernando II.
