Born August 29, 1923 in Laredo, TX, she was a long time resident of San Antonio and a faithful member of St. James Catholic Church for 50 years, dedicated to the Legion of Mary and CCD.
"Mima" was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Alvarado Sr. and devoted to him and to her family.
She is survived by daughters, Alicia Lira and husband, Antonio, Marta Anaya and husband, Richard; sons, Carlos Alvarado Jr. and wife, Virginia and David Alvarado; special niece, Paulita Medina-Escajadillo; fifteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Juvencia Aguilar and Magdalena Sepulveda; and brother, Gregorio Medina.
