

Juanita was born on September 20, 1950, in Mathis, Texas, to Domingo Garcia and Leonora Olivo Garcia. She grew up surrounded by family and carried the values of kindness, compassion, and love throughout her life.
For 26 wonderful years, Juanita shared a loving marriage with her devoted husband, Tommie Andress. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Juanita was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and treasured great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in spending time with those she loved. She is survived by her husband, Tommie Andress; her sons, Simon Guerra, Antonio Guerra Jr., and Adrian Guerra; and her daughter, Yvonne Jimenez (Filiberto).
She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Laura, Anthony, Simon Jr., Antonio Guerra III, Chasity, Liana, Alayna, Carlos, Ariana, and Leo; and her cherished great-grandchildren: Emerson, Acelyn, Keilani, Koa, and Haveah.
Juanita is further survived by her sisters, Isabel, Leonore, Yolanda, Jose, Alicia, Diana, Sylvia, Susan, and Gloria; and her brothers, Joe, Ismael, and Ruben, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Domingo Garcia and Leonora Olivo Garcia; her son, Felix Guerra; her sister, Margarita; and her brothers, Robert and Ricky.
Juanita found beauty in the simple gifts of life. She loved tending to her rose bushes and could often be found watching and feeding the hummingbirds that visited her yard. She had a deep appreciation for nature and delighted in the wonders of the world around her.
Those who knew Juanita will remember her warm heart, infectious laugh, and remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with kindness, compassion, and genuine interest. Her joyful spirit and loving presence brightened every room she entered.
Juanita lived a life rooted in love… love for her family, love for nature, and love for life itself. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Her legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind.

Chapel Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, US, on June 18, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. Committal will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209, US, on June 18, 2026, from 1:30 pm to 1:50 pm.
