Juanita Vasquez Gomez born on October 28, 1928 in Yoakum, Texas was called to be with the Lord on March 19, 2015 at the age of 86. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe S. Gomez Sr., daughter, Connie Vasquez, Felipe Jr., David and Juan Gomez. She leaves behind six sons, Lee Rubio, Jesse (Lupe), George, Luis, Mike (Liz), and Carlos (JoAnn) Gomez; daughters: Tomasa De Leon (David), Clara, Carol Gomez, Juanita Trevino (David), Yolanda Moody and Rachel Carrillo (Luis); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, Matthew and Gabriella; also, numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
