Memories:
Judy was selfless, generous, and kind. She was a prayer warrior and genuine superhero, a devoted, loving wife, amazing mother, loving grandmother, caring sister and aunt, and generous and loyal friend. She loved the Lord and shared her relationship with Jesus with others, especially in recent seasons of hard health trials; often encouraging others she met in counsel and prayer.
As a scientist, Judy was inquisitive about the world around us and shared that interest with her children, grandchildren and others. She had a wide breadth of interests and knowledge, often learning about things well before the internet made us all experts. She enjoyed and shared interests in gardening, wildlife, and ecology. Judy was an avid reader and lover of music, art and culture. She gently shared her knowledge and resources with anyone in need; providing for many in ways others will never know.
Judy was creative, funny and found ways to make people feel special regardless of her trials. Friends regularly commented on her kind ways and sweet spirit. Judy is revered for her perseverance and is a model of strength and inexplicable fortitude; a precious jewel greatly missed by all who knew her.
Her family is grateful to so many who have cared and advocated for Judy’s health along her journey; too many to name, but all are very much appreciated.
