Judy Tucker Pahl

Judy is survived by her husband of 43 years Tom Pahl; daughters Kristin Pahl ; Karla (Mike) Porcelli; granddaughters Evelyn and Kaitlyn Porcelli; sister Ann (Bob) Royal; sister-in-law Shirley Steitle and numerous family and friends. She is a graduate of Stephen F Austin HS and The University of Texas at Austin, where she was an active member of Gamma Phi Beta. Judy spent many years in the medical field as a medical technologist until her children were born. Her second career was as a well-loved substitute teacher for Stevenson Middle School and O'Connor High School. Judy will be remembered for her many years of helping with her daughters’ girl scout troops and her love of camping, reading, quilting, knitting hats for the Toby Keith Foundation, Texas Longhorns, supporting O'Connor sports, and country music. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Rd. on Thursday, April 23 from 6pm to 8pm. A funeral service will be conducted at 10am Friday, April 24 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with interment to follow at Mission North Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or the Toby Keith Foundation (www.tobykeithfoundation.org).
