Julia Olivares Granados

Julia Olivares Granados, born on January 01, 1923 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico was called home to be with the Lord, on February 2, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 50 years of marriage, Agustin A. Granados and her loving parents Hermelinda Y. & Felix Olivares.

Julia was a long time resident of San Antonio since 1954. She enjoyed working as a day care teacher at Orange Goose School for many years. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Julia is survived by her loving children; Joseph Ruben Granados, Mary Belinda Granados, Henrietta Hernandez (Frank), sister Rosa Maria Barraza, 11 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3907 Harry Wurzbach with Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
