Julia Ramirez Tabares born on December 1, 1925 in San Antonio, Texas went to be with our Lord on December 7, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband Raul F. Tabares, married September 12 1948; her parents Santiago and Juanita Ramirez; sisters Amparo Sanchez and Minerva M. Pedraza; brothers Edmundo M. Ramirez and Manuel M. Ramirez. She is survived by her sons Saul J. Tabares (Mary Jane), Jose S. Tabares (Yvonne), Alfonso Tabares; grandchildren Ann Marie Oda, Issac Tabarez, Julia Nicole Long, Olympia Williamson, Tatiana Artis; great grandchildren Nicholas Oda, Ian Oda, Samantha Oda, Victoria Tabares, Gabriel Williamson, Benjamin Williamson, Brennan Dennehy, Aiden Long, Oliver Long; Mrs. Tabares also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tabares was 1946 graduate of Sidney Lanier high school and president of her class. The Visitation will begin on Sunday December 11, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home located at 226 Cupples Road with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Inurnment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will follow at a later date.
