

He is preceded in death by his parents, Julian Gonzales Sr & Theresa Castro; daughters, Irene Gonzales and Jeannette Carranza; son, Gerardo Gonzales; daughter in law, Nancy Gonzales; son in law, Dennis Dutcher and siblings, Dolores Coronado, Guadalupe Tapia, Gonzalo Gonzales and David Gonzales.
Julian is survived by his beloved wife of 56, Euzela Chapa Gonzales; children, Biolanda Dutcher, Dolores Esmeralda Gonzales, Julian Gonzales, Joe Anthony Gonzales (Mirna) and Mark Anthony Gonzales (Belinda) and daughter in law, Irma Gonzales.
He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
As the proud owner of his roofing and remodeling company, Gonzales Roofing and Remodeling, he spent many years helping build and improve homes throughout the community. His craftsmanship, honesty, and strong work ethic earned him the respect of customers, colleagues, and friends alike.
When he wasn't working, Julian could often be found outdoors enjoying two of his greatest passions—fishing and hunting. He also had a hearty appetite and simple favorites that brought him joy. He never turned down a plate of barbecue chicken and always enjoyed a little chile pequin to add some extra flavor. Sharing meals, stories, and laughter around the table with loved ones were among his happiest moments.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026 from 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. On Monday, July 13, 2026 a Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Trevino Funeral Home, followed by interment at Leal Cemetery in Pleasanton, Texas. The family invites families and friends to a luncheon after the interment at Coughran Hall located at 4858 Coughran Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064.
