Bob was a close and dear friend while we worked together.  Bob was a loyal and trusted friend long before I became his supervisor in the Drug Court.  Bob was a great asset to the unit in supporting me when asked and helping with training and support of new staff.  His greatest asset was the ability to working with drug court clients by leading them into positive life decisions.  Many addicts owe their lives to his positive regard.

I always thought of Bob as a dear friend.  He was a friend before I became his supervisor within the San Mateo Co. Drug court.  Bob was always a caring and responsive person.  He was also always willing to help others in a supportive but non-judgmental manner.  I feel a very real loss at his passing.


I hope and pray that you now found peaceful rest in God's kingdom...I still remember as if it was only a few years ago that I was walking down the aisle with you and my godmother Josefina to hand me to Tony on my wedding day as I chose you as I look up to you like my older brother, my mentor and best friend. You said it was a great honor for you to be part of that memorable event (25 years ago). And I always miss those times when we used to go to coffee and lunch breaks at work with my Comadre Louisa   You and Diana have been through so much with Bobby's passing. I hope you knew that you weren't alone. We felt your pain and prayed for God to carry your burdens and lift up your hearts.

Bob was an Angel in my children and my life while I was raising them. I had the pleasure of having my break buddy from Adult Probation for over 15 years. He was a mentor in my life, a great friend  and an inspiration to many.  
Your  kindness and friendship will remain forever in our hearts.

His loss leaves us lonely and with a whole in our hearts. But today we clelbrate you we thankyou for being in our lives. We look to the heavens knowing that's where you will be watching and guarding over us. Thou our hearts are breaking we know you  are loved and we know we will one day meet again so good bye for now.
