Julie Lynne Maxey

Julie was a junior at Smithson Valley High School, where she participated in many activities. Julie was a member of the Lady Ranger Basketball Team, Lady Ranger Junior Volleyball Team, Alamo Regional Club Volleyball Team, Student Council, FACS and FCA. She was also active in community services through Community Bible Church.

Julie is preceded in death by Grandparents Johnny and Jutta Maxey and Great Grandparents Gladys and Sam Sexton. She loved and is survived by her parents; sisters, Jordan, Emily and Madison; brother, Josh; Grandparents, Anthony L. Golla, Sandra Golla-Malkus, Mike "Uncle Tuff" Malkus, and Sue Ann Maxey. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, Chris and Jerry Marple, Susan and Marcus Morrison, Michael and Terri Golla, Justin and Donna Maxey, Jonathan Maxey, Dan and Dolsie McDonald. She also had numerous cousins and extended family members. Julie was kind to everyone she met and helped, and volunteered wherever she found a need.

Julie loved all recreational sports such as boating, fishing, hunting and camping. She rescued many animals in need from small dogs to horses.

The family will hold a viewing for friends and family from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM., Friday May 13th at Porter Loring North.
