According to Julie's personal expression, her greatest accomplishments in life were: the adoption of her son, Donald, helping to organize the Optimist Club of Fort Sam, serving as a board member of the Alamo Boys Ranch; going back to school after retirement and achieving the President's List at San Antonio College.
Julia was preceded in death by her son, Donald Ybarra and many other beloved pets in her lifetime.
She is survived by her sisters, Lupe Trejo and Elodia and husband, Adan Hernandez; brother, Gilbert and wife, Mary Trejo; beloved pet, Precious Jewel Ybarra and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
