Julio A. Guero Mr. Flores, Sr.

Julio "Guero" Flores, age 72, passed peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017 from this life, surrounded by his family, comforted by hearing the Lord's prayer and entered the Kingdom of Heaven. Guero was a truly joyous man; he delighted in life, the Lord, his family and friends. He delighted in overcoming problems, helping others with their struggles, in being present and always living in the moment. He leaves behind, but for only awhile, an adoring and loving family - and he leaves the legacy of a life well lived. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Anastacia Flores; brothers, Manuel Flores and Albert Flores. Guero is survived by his loving wife of over 51 years, Janie Flores; daughter, Lori Rodriguez and husband, Rod; sons, Gilbert Flores and wife, Leslie and Julio Flores, Jr. and wife, Jeanette.; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2017, at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel. And also on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Porter Loring Mortuary North in the Reflection Room.
