June Hedges Johnson

June Hedges Johnson, age 99, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas She was born on June 26, 1926, in Mission, Texas to her parents, Frederick Leland Hedges and Lavenia Helena Bourgeois Hedges.

June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Goodier Johnson in 1999. She is survived by her five children: Donna June Millhollon, Anne Michele Day, Donald Goodier Johnson Jr., Gary Karl Johnson and Craig Scott Johnson as well as seven grandchildren: Jennifer Williams, Michele Day Lilley, Amy Day Shaw, Lindsey Goulden, Kelsey Johnson, Patrick Johnson and Stone Johnson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren: Rylan Williams, Kaylan Williams, Sadie Lilley, Jack Lilley, Robin Goulden, and Jasper Goulden.

June was a long-time resident of Olmos Park. She loved to play the piano and sing.

A visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 12:00 p.m., on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave., San Antonio, TX 78212. A private interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
