June Strickland went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2020. She was born to Ermon & Leonard Moore in Booneville, Arkansas on June 6, 1939. She lived life through her faith, kindness and grace. She and her husband Jim are original members of Calvary Hills Baptist Church. They loved the church and the family it provided, developing many lifelong friends along the way. She cared for others, never raised her voice, loved to sew, play dominos or rummy, really any game was good. Her family was very important to her and truly enjoyed the annual family reunions. She enjoyed growing vegetables in her garden, she loved to be outside, spent many a weekend camping and square dancing when the children were young, she loved with all of her heart and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband James Strickland, daughter Rhonda and her husband David Ragsdale, her daughter Teresa Sinor, her grandchildren James & Amanda Ragsdale, Debbie and Patrick Reynolds, Brenda & Josh Balogh, Jennifer Ragsdale, Coy & Rhieannon Tipton, Kelly Ragsdale, Garrett Sinor, 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her brothers Art, Glen and Dallas Moore and her sister Wanda Daniels. In lieu of flowers we ask for contributions in her name to the JW Walsh Fund to Cure COPD (copdfoundation.org) or to Calvary Hills Baptist Church’s Music Ministry’s fund for audio equipment for the hearing impaired.

Rhieannon Tipton

My memory of Grandma is not just one it is in General a very loving and kind memory. I never felt unwanted or unloved around her. I did not have the privilege of knowing her my whole life but that didn't stop her from loving me and my children as if she had. As Coy and I grew into a family going to see her and Grandpa was always something we cherished and looked forward to. We knew we would be loved. We would cook together and we would play games together. She and Grandpa always had/have our backs and I can't think of any better way to be loved by a Grandparent(s). They have also been a wonderful example of true love and marriage that Coy and I hope to live up to. I am forever grateful to her and Grandpa for helping raise my husband into the Amazingly kind, gentle, loving, patient husband and Father that he is today. My husband dearly loved her and will miss her every second of every day. As will we all .
