She was born August 10, 1957, in San Antonio, 1 of 12 children to George and Celia Martinez.
She was married to her beloved husband, Fred Dunn, for 27 years, but they were in love for 31 years. Rose earned her certification in Histology from the UT Health Science of San Antonio and worked in this field for over 10 years. During her leisure, she loved working on arts and crafts, and she also had a good eye for antiques.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Rose is survived by her loving husband, Fred Dunn; cherished son, Gabriel Dunn and wife, Lydia; and numerous family and friends. Rose was looking forward to being a grandmother for the first time this August.
