Born on April 22, 1990, in Aschaffenburg, Germany, Kaitlyn was a devoted mother, daughter, and sister. She is survived by her children, Skyler York and Mario Gonzales; her mother, Valerie York, and father, Jeffrey York; her brothers, David York and Grey York; her grandmother, Shelly Wray; her grandfather, Billy Wray; and her grandfather, James Henderson, all of whom will carry her memory forward. While her absence leaves a deep ache, the family finds comfort in the promise that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” - Psalm 34:18
Kaitlyn pursued her passion for healthcare by completing training as a Medical Radiologic Technologist at the College of Health Care Professionals in March 2020, earning straight A’s. Although the COVID-19 pandemic prevented her from entering the field professionally, she remained proud of her accomplishment and aspired to further her career in mammography.
She also demonstrated an entrepreneurial spirit by turning her love of thrift shopping into an online business, creatively reselling clothing and accessories through platforms such as Poshmark. Kaitlyn had a passion for photography and expressed her creativity through her work and personal interests.
She faced life’s challenges with resilience and strength and will be remembered for her creativity and determination.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In the midst of sorrow, we hold to the enduring promise: “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” - Revelation 21:4
