Karen was quick to laugh and a fun natured person. She loved to quilt and kept busy with this hobby in recent years. Her health issues the past few years limited her quite a bit, but her sense of humor remained intact. Karen will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Woodrow George, Jr.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Colleen Sullivan, her granddaughter Courtney Regester; brothers and sisters: Daniel George & wife Joy, Peggy Stevenson of Greenwood, SC, her twin sister Sharon Harley, Kenneth George & wife Linda of Rockport, TX, Marcelle Graham, Kathryn Hammack & husband Alan, Dana Harvey & numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218, at 12:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
