

Karen Ann Inskeep, 60, passed away on June 20, 2017, in Helotes, Texas. She retired in 2011 from the Air Force after a 32-year career. After 4 years enlisted service, Karen entered the Air Force ROTC program at California State University – Fresno and graduated as a distinguished graduate and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. Karen spent 28 years as an intelligence officer serving globally at AF ISR Agency, National Security Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, U.S. Forces Korea, Pacific Air Forces, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and U.S. Central Command.
Karen is survived by Thomas, her husband of 25 years. Other survivors include her mother, Arline Milkent, and brothers John and Kenneth and sister Eileen Milkent Torres. She was preceded in death by her father, John Milkent.
Visitation (9:00 to 9:30) and the funeral Mass at 9:30 A.M. will be on June 30, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 13715 Riggs Rd., Helotes, TX 78023. Inurnment will follow at 11:15 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209
