Kathy Hughey was one of the most kind, thoughtful, and caring person that I have ever known. My thoughts are with her family.

To a lady who I know bared her share of pain with the family along side of her. Will continue to keep in prayer, for Our Lord now is helping Kathy get acquainted with His courtyard who is showing her beautiful smile upon all of us. Where do I begin... She has been there since the day I was born. She is just a piece of my life. She's my Aunt Kathy. She was a very special person. It was very clear today how much she was loved. Dear Hughey Family, 
Carlyn and I have known Kathy for 20+ years, both as a friend and a client. We want to express our sorrow in her passing and that we will keep the family in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

Kathy will always be remembered as a part of our family.

Kathy and Bill live next door to us on Cloverleaf Ave. We could not have asked or imagined nicer neighbors than Bill and Kathy. We will definately miss seeing the two of them driving down the street in the car on their way to Martha's for dinner. Kathy was a very kind lady and very lucky to have a family that loved and appreciated her so very much.

Our prayers are with Katherine's family and friends. We know her memory will live on in our brother-in-law Rod Brannon and his wife Althea.

Kathy was such a nice person. Every time I saw her at the Corvette Club functions and meetings she always remembered me. I always thought of the nice lady named Kathy. I know she will be missed. 
I had a friend that passed that wrote this poem. It fits. May I. 
God's Garden 
God looked at his garden

I am Tim's sister-in -law Karen Long. The first time I met Mrs. Kathy Hughey was before a car racing event in Dallas. She was with her husband Bill at my sister Angela's home in Dallas. Angela was engaged to Tim at the time. We had so much fun talking and getting to know each other and I really enjoyed her upbeat personality. She couldn't believe I had never been to the car races here and said I should go next time because it is really fun. I could tell how much Tim really loved her. Angel My sister always talked so highly of her. I then got to be with her and Bill at the wedding and pre-wedding events in March. She was so beautiful in her pink suit. She almost "stole the show"! I knew she was not feeling well at the time and she never let anyone know. Always had a beautiful smile and such a happy personality. She will be greatly missed by everyone she touched including myself. I always look at the picture on Angela and Tim's coffee table that says "Mom and Me" It is of Kathy while pregnant with Tim with her belly way out. It always makes me smile to think that was the beginning of such a strong bond between mom and son. I loved spending time with Mrs. Hughey at Angela's "bridal tea" the morning of the wedding. She is a wonderful, special person and will be greatly missed by all. My thoughts go to Tim, his dad Bill, his sister Kristy and all of Tim's relatives and friends during this time of sorrow.
