Katherine Pearson, age 87, passed away on June 22, 2019, in San Antonio, TX surrounded by her family. Katherine was born on March 26, 1932 in San Antonio, TX to Daniel and Daisy Runnels. She was a parishioner of the Second Baptist Church in Houston, TX where she was a member of the church choir. She loved to sing and was also a member of the Sweet Adelines International Choir for many years where she competed in and traveled. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Billy Ray Pearson; her parents and her son, Larry Pearson. Katherine is survived by her daughters, Michal Willkens (Ron) and Deborah Duffin (Robert); four grandchildren, Kenneth W. Kiger (Dawn), Kimberly M. Grijalva, David S. Duffin (Erin), Dustin J. Duffin (Anita); seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
