Kathleen E. Bowden,76, entered into eternal rest on March 15, 2018. A native of Tyler, MN; she was born to Donald and Henrietta Donahue on November 2, 1941. She now reunites with her parents, brother Patrick Donahue, and step-father Eldon Orange. She is survived by her husband of over 57 years, Patrick Bowden, daughters Erin (Alex) Galindo, Colleen (Steve) Ladwig, grandchildren: Bridgitte, Alex, Katherine; brother Michael (Phyllis) Donahue; nieces Tamara and Shannon (Scott) Lopez, nephew Sean (Linda) Donahue, great-nieces Payton and Kelly, sister-in-law Mary Donahue, Steve Ladwig’s children: Christina, Lance, Lauren, and their families. Some of Kathleen's favorite hobbies included: Tai Chi and aerobics at Gold's Gym for about 14 years, activities at her local library, where she enjoyed making recommendations for her book club, Sodoku, Jeopardy and other competitive games. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who truly enjoyed talking with and supporting her grandchildren. She was a lovely, loving and giving person who was loved by almost everyone who knew her. She chose her words kindly to be sure never to offend or hurt others. She was patient, kind, empathetic, non-judgmental, and looked for the good in everyone. She loved dogs and her favorite grand dogs were Poppy and Josie, which she enjoyed helping to care for. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 6:00p.m with Rosary at 7:00p.m. Procession will depart the funeral home on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 9:15a.m to celebrate a 10:00a.m Mass of Resurrection at St. Brigid’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
