Kathleen M. Howard

Kay was born in San Antonio to Harta (Theresa) & Jack Howard on July 7, 1947. She went to school at Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio. Kay worked as the Office Manager for (Dr. Tyler, MD) for 45 years. She was very involved in the Civic Sorority Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, in the chapter of Gamma Phi for many years and happily served in many roles. Her Sorority Sisters were like family to her.

Kay is preceded in death by her mother Harta (Theresa) and her father Jack.

Kay is survived by Cousins, sorority Sisters and friends. She was very close to her friend Cynthia Herring and her son Caleb Hernandez, whom she considered to be an adopted grandson.

A visitation will be held on May 1st at 10am followed by a Rosary at 10:30 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home at 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio TX 78218.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on May 1st, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will follow at (Sunset Memorial Park at 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Sunset Memorial Park, and donations can be made in Kathleen Howard’s name to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
