Kathleen Kendrick Voss

In the very early hours on Saturday morning, July 23, Kathleen Kendrick Voss, 76, left her earthly body and entered into her eternal home. Her step daughter-in-law sat by her side and witnessed Kathys peaceful passing.

Kathy was married to Dr. Robert N. Voss for 44 years, most of the time living in Temple, TX, and Uvalde, TX, having moved to San Antonio only two years ago. Kathy helped her husband with his many business ventures throughout those years. She also taught for several Texas Elementary schools, the last being La Pryor Elementary where she retired in 2007. While living in Uvalde, TX, Kathy was a member of various community organizations including The Red Hatters, the Green Thumb Garden Club, and the Friends of the El Progreso Memorial Library. After moving to San Antonio, Kathy joined the Terrell Heights Garden Club and The Republican Women of San Antonio.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Sherrill Kendrick, her mother, Martha Louise Kendrick, and a brother, Mike Kendrick.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. R. N. Voss and her son, Robert Kern, both of San Antonio, TX, a brother, Bill Kendrick (wife, Donna), of Georgetown, TX, her four stepchildren, Stephanie Voss Nugent of Dover, NH, John Voss (wife, Barbara) of San Antonio, TX, Jim Voss (wife, Delia) of San Antonio, TX, and Steve Voss (wife, Darla) of Temple, TX. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Services for Kathy will be held on August 13, at Fellowship Bible Church, 8603 Huebner Rd, San Antonio, TX, at 10:30 am. Her grandson-in-law, Pastor John Cronin of Longview, TX, will preside over the service. Internment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Animal Shelters or to the Garden Clubs of San Antonio or Uvalde, TX.
