Katie Sherman Lee, formerly of San Antonio,TX, age78, died March 3, 2002 in Houston, TX. She was a member of Congregation Agudas Achim, and its Sisterhood, and Hadassah. She was the former owner of Lawbook Company of Texas, and longtime Precinct Election Judge. Katie was known for her fine kosher cooking, which she shared with the community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Barkin Lee. She is survived by her sons; Jack Philip Lee and wife, Karen of Houston, Steven Lee and wife, Eileen of Houston, daughter; Mynette Lee of Los Angeles, CA, grandchildren; Diane Lee, Beth Lee, Erin Lee, Samuel Lee, Evan Lee and Jonathan Hurwitz, brother; David G. Sherman and wife, Florence of Houston.
