Kendra Alison Campbell

August 18, 1971November 5, 2018

Kendra Campbell passed away November 5, 2018 with her family at her side. She fought a valiant battle with cancer and is now in Heaven with her father William Campbell who preceded her in death. Kendra is survived by her mother Julie Campbell, brother Christopher Campbell, Sister-in-law Jennifer Campbell and two nieces Abigayle Campbell and Victoria Campbell.

Kendra was born in La Mesa, California. From a young girl to a college student she did many things with her church friends at Del Cerro Baptist Church in La Mesa. She graduated from San Diego State University and went on to work with the Atkins firm. She was in Mississippi and Florida for twelve years helping with the Katrina and Wilma hurricane recoveries. She had many good friends there.

Kendra enjoyed reading, taking care of her cats, and spending time with friends and family. She especially loved doing things with her nieces. Her willingness to help others and her sweet spirit will be missed so much.

Julie and family, I loved our years at Serra High, as we were a family of dear friends. I shared in so many of your day to day family joys and challenges, as you shared in mine each day. I have such fond memories of sweet Kenda and her visits to our campus. She was kind, genuine and warm. Just like her mother, one of my favorite people. I am so sorry to hear of her loss, as I know it leaves a void in your life. My prayers will be with you. She's with her dad now! Love always, Carol Sobek

So very sad to hear of Kendra’s passing...and have sweet memories of our childhood & youth together at Del Cerro Baptist Church. I will be praying for your family during this time. Much love.
