Kenneth E. Griswold

Kenneth E. Griswold, Jr., age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in San Antonio. He proudly served in the Air Force for 23 years where most noticeably he served in the Vietnam War. Kenneth E. Griswold Jr. was a loving, caring, compassionate person that loved to be seen in public with his "Vietnam Veteran" hat and a scoop of ice cream in his hand. He was never going to bother you or interrupt your daily living because he would only last 2 minutes on the phone. If you needed help with anything, he was always there with a smile, a helping hand, and a salute to get you out of your current situation. He had a beautiful and loving wife, Pacita, parents Ken Sr. and Mildred; brother, Homer that preceded in death. He is survived by his sisters, Betty and Clare; daughters, Mary (Jeff), Sarah (Namil), Dellie (Patrick); son, Ken III; 11 grandchildren, Carl, Ashley, Stephen, Brandon, Katie, Tyler, Kelsey, Cory, Madeline, Hunter, and Celeste; 2 Great Granddaughters, Diwata Sky and Everly Rose.

Viewing will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2020, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.

A private interment will be held in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ken, Jeff, Namil, Stephen, Brandon, Tyler, Cory, and Hunter.
