A WWII Era Veteran, he proudly and honorably served 23 years in the Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force. After completing his military service, he earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration with honors at St. Mary’s University and went on to a second career in finance; most notably serving as Treasurer at San Antonio Junior College. In retirement he and Shirley, his wife of 69 years, enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and fishing at their lake house. He also had a love for golf and being outdoors. Even in retirement he continued to follow finance with a focus on the stock market.
