Kent was born at Toul-Rosieres AFB in France on July 18, 1963, to Joseph and Elaine Atwell. He graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1981. Kent was an active member of Community Bible Church Youthquake Program. He served as the former president and coach of Converse Little League as well as the former coach of the Northeast Chargers Football League. Kent was also a member of the Judson Athletic Booster Club.
Kent was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Gene Atwell. Survivors include his wife, Judy Tristan Atwell; 2 sons, Joshua Atwell and his fianc Tiffany Jarrell, and Matthew Atwell; his mother, Elaine Wall; his stepfather, David Wall; 3 brothers, Greg and his wife Shari, Buck, and Ross Atwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kent was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend and will be dearly missed but will live in our hearts forever.
