Kevin Glen Jeffryes

Kevin G. “Baby Huey” or “Jethro” Jeffryes loving husband, father, son, and brother entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2011 at the age of 51. He was born on October 12, 1959 in Euclid, Ohio to A.J. and Fredna Jeffryes. Kevin honorably served in the United States Marine Corps as military police. After his time in the service he served as a volunteer in police for SAPD. His biggest hobby and passion in life is his Harley Davidson trike. Kevin was a founding member and in good standing of the American Steel Motorcycle Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Catherine M. Jeffryes; daughters, Kim Jeffryes (Daniel Morrow) and Kelly Jeffryes (Jeremy Lozano); parents, A.J. and Fredna Jeffryes; brother, Keith Jeffryes (Merlene); sister, Kathleen Horn (Jeff); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made in his name to Wounded Warriors, www.woundedwarriorsproject.org. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
