As the service learning coordinator at St. Philip's College, he led numerous campus and community efforts promoting volunteerism and dialogue about key global concerns. His sense of humor lit up a room. He enjoyed volunteering, learning about technology advancements, and expanding his gaming collection. As a brother, he is a keystone to many childhood memories and deeply admired. The family he acquired through his service and his own family will deeply miss him.
Kevin is survived by his mother; his father and Kevin is survived by his mother; his father and wife Susan; his brother Thomas Schantz and wife Beverly; brother John Schantz and wife Melissa; sister Leslie Shain and husband Jamie; extended family and numerous friends. Thank you to all those offering their prayers and sympathies at this difficult time.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
