After living briefly in Germany, the family moved to San Antonio, Texas where Kim attended Woodridge Elementary School and later graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1970. He went on to Trinity University where he earned a degree in Radio, Television and Film in 1974. He married Sara Lynn Hutchins in 1975 and in 1977 they had a son, James Wesley Bunch.
His career began at Universal Video Productions which eventually became part of Hayes Productions. He later continued his career with Oh Brother Productions, Kim Bunch Productions, and Sosa, Bromley, Aguilar and Associates, producing numerous national and international projects.
Kim was a great lover of the Arts, fine cuisine and traveling, especially trips to Port Aransas with his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his son, daughter-in-law and 2 granddaughters, along with his two dogs Huck and Scruffy.
Kim is survived by his son Wes and wife Amie; sister Stacy Perez and husband David, brother Gary W. Bunch; granddaughters Hadley Bunch and Caitlin MacGillis; nieces and nephews Megan and Nicholas Perez, and Taylor Bunch. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Janis and Eugene Grammar, their daughter and son-in-law Leslie and Ernie Davis, and their sons Wayne, Philip and James.
We offer special thanks to Jeffrey Dyer and Curran Corder for their continued care and support.
