Kimberly Lavonne Font was born September 19, 1967 to George and Janis Jones in Miami, Florida. Kim resided in Miami, Florida during her childhood and received her formal education at Monsignor Edward Pace High School. Following graduation from High School and receiving her diploma, she enlisted into the United States Navy where she served our country for 14 years and worked as a Chef. After being medically discharged due to her health, she decided to further her education at Edison State College in Fort Myers, Florida where she excelled in her studies during her collegiate career.

Kim accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young girl and served faithfully until her death. Kim leaves to cherish a loving husband of 32 years, Robert Font. Their union was a real-life love story, for it was the beginning of Kim’s first book titled, “When Boy Meets Girl.” Through the years they have shared many ups and downs and good and bad times just like any other marriage but the thing that sets them apart, is their unconditional and everlasting love for each other.

Kimberly precedes her mother and father in death, George and Janis Jones, her husband, Robert Font and their 6 beautiful children: Tashara (Dionne) Gilyard residing in Queens, New York, Robert (Camisha) Font, Anthony (Nicole) Font, Antonia Font, Eric Font and Angelique Font whom all reside in San Antonio, Texas along with 11 grandchildren. She also leaves behind 3 brothers: Alfred Jones and Ronald Key residing in Miami, Florida and George Jones Jr. whom resides in San Antonio, Texas along with 2 nieces and 2 sisters, Valerie Washington and Anyana Simpson both residing in Fort Myers, Florida, a host of relatives and friends. Kimberly’s legacy will forever be remembered by her family, friends and the many lives she touched during life’s journey. We can definitely say that she died fulfilling her purpose here on Earth.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 state “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.”

Today is the day of committal. Your body is being lowered into the earth. As it is written, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You are soaring high above the earth. Covering your family and friends. You will forever live on the inside of all you impacted. I ❤ you. 😘😘😘

Mom's passing is a huge devastation, but her love and the life she lived really has me analysing fixing parental to child relationships. The best lesson she taught me was when you learn to accept people for the best them they could be I'll be less disappointed in life. I swear life has been so much better since I digested that. Mom I remember when I took you to see Freddy vs Jason (mind u a movie I wouldn't usually watch) Mom was repenting... Telling Jesus she was sorry for taking him to see that... Lol I kept laughing... God I miss you so much... You were the best mom I had... It's too soon to say farewell... I'm so not ready....

Kim my sister, many will never know, while some knows just how much you meant to me. No matter the day or hour I could call both you and Yana to talk about any and everything. My beautiful sister, will this pain ever go away?

I can't quite wrap my brain around this; however, I do know with assurance that absent from the body for you sis simply means your beautiful soul is in His presence. Be strong in the Lord, Mr. Font. RIH Kimmy
