Kim was a graduate of Athens High School, Baylor University, and Baylor School of Law.
Survived by Sloan Foster of San Antonio, parents John and Patsy Young of Alpine, Texas, sister, Kristy Stubbs French of Dallas, brothers, John Young of Dallas and Bohn Young of Brownwood, sister-in-law Brandy Young of Brownwood, nephews, Phin Stubbs III, John Marshall Stubbs, Jack French, Brett and Bryce Sawyer and niece Lilly French.
