Kris Adele Flaugher

Kris Adele Schwartz Strzelczyk Flaugher, age 66, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in San Antonio, TX after a battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on July 28, 1954 in San Antonio to Lloyd C. Schwartz and Dorothy Clinger Schwartz.

For everyone that knew Kris, they knew she was a family person, loved her friends dearly, always had a smile on her face, loved dancing to country music; especially a line dance, and lived life to the fullest. She spent most of her life as a housewife and cleaned the homes of several families. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mom, and Mimi.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents and brothers Carl and Curtis Schwartz.

Kris is survived by her loving husband Bill of 15 years, daughter Kelly Bennett and husband Ryan, son Bryan Strzelczyk, granddaugher Kylie Bennett, sister Karen Seward, nephew Trey Seward and wife April, niece Kari Binley and husband Lance, niece Chelsea Magby, nephew Curtis Schwartz, Jr. and wife Maria, as well as family and friends.

The family would like to express sincere gratitude to friends and family for the outpouring of prayers, love, and support you have given us during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the staff at Shining Stars Assisted Living who cared for her the last 25 days. She was blessed to have had her husband Bill by her side providing her with loving care in the years prior.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kris Flaugher’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.

In honor of Kris, we ask that you wear pink on Wednesday and Thursday.
