Myrtis LaVerne Rose entered eternal rest April 21, 2021 at the age of 93 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born to Clifton and Elvie Hood December 13, 1927 in Hilly, Louisiana. La Verne is preceded in passing by her parents and brother, Chester Murrell Hood. She is survived by her loving husband, Howard Richard Rose; sister, Nell Rose Hood Owen (Husband, James Owen); daughter, Teresa LaVerne Rose Carlson (Husband, Christopher Dale Carlson); son, Mark Richard Rose (Wife, LaVerne Renee Paddock Rose); Grandsons, Christopher Dale Carlson Jr. (wife Crystal Nugent Carlson), Kyle Matthew Carlson (wife Lindsey Gray Carlson), Lance Dean, step grandson; great grandchildren, Christina Robinson Wittman, step great granddaughter, Christian Elijah Carlson, Madeline Claire Carlson, Collin Reed Carlson, Jude Gray Carlson, Spencer Graham Carlson, Rex Isaac Carlson.
