This is too hard to know where to start. My Aunt LaDonna, she had the most big beautiful smile that acted as a door into her caring heart. I truly believe that there is not one person who came in contact with her, that wasn’t impacted in a positive way. My Aunt LaDonna showed me endless support no matter what the circumstance was, the last week of her life she fought through the pain to roll down the hallway of the hospital to visit me in my room after surgery, to me only a loving soul would do such a thing. I remember my parent’s family game nights with Shawn and LaDonna and one other couple, when I showed up to these all I can think of is how joyful Ladonna was, she always had her music playing and was always singing right along. I am so glad that I was able to attend one last family game night in September with LaDonna being there, even though she was in pain she managed to laugh and enjoy her time playing games with our families. She was a lover she loved my Uncle Shawn and just as much her children, the way she cherished her family is something I will never forget. My Cousin Morgan is a true product of my beautiful Aunt Ladonna, Morgan has her contagious big beautiful smile and that caring heart that is God fearing and full of compassion for others. This is all still too hard to process and I am still in disbelief, but I do know that my aunt is dancing in heaven free of pain with her loved ones.

LaDonna was a beautiful person, inside and out. I had the privilege of knowing her, working with her and calling her friend.  A life well lived and called home too soon.  Rest easy my friend. The Lord is by your side and you are now healed.  Love you always.

When I think of my aunt LaDonna the first thing that comes to mind is her contagious big smile and the love and happiness that she radiated. My parents often went over to Shawn and LaDonna’s for game nights, I always heard stories from my parents about all the fun they would have. I was able to attend one of these game nights when I was home visiting this year. I remember sitting outside with everyone eating and talking when LaDonna looked up and said “I’m just so happy, I love my family.” That moment will always stick with me. LaDonna truly loved life and appreciated every moment, she was strong and always positive. She never let what she was going through stop her from having a good time with the people she loved. Her strength and grace has, and will always inspire me. We all love and miss you so much.  Love Savannah
