

She was born on February 3, 1927 in Laredo, TX. As a child she moved to San Antonio where she one day studied bookkeeping and became one of only 3 women to graduate from Edgewood High School in 1945. After graduation she worked at Kelly Air Force Base as a secretary. In 1947, she married her husband of 64 years Vicente M. Campos(deceased). Then, in 1958 she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses dedicating herself to teaching and spreading the Bible message. Laura was a member of the Westwood Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Laura Campos is survived by her daughter, Mary C. Lopez, son-in-law Jose A. Lopez, grandchildren Georgina and Obed, and 5 great grandchildren, Mateo, Nicholas Jr, Nickaela, Elena and Elizabeth.
Funeral talk will be given on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at 7:30pm. Viewing will be the same day from 5pm to 9pm.
The burial will take place on Thursday January 11, 2018. Departure from the funeral home will be at 11am. Viewing will be from 9am to 11am the same day.
