She was born to Frank Douglas Frank and Helen Rivera Franks on June 2, 1962 in Houston, TX. She moved to San Antonio at an early age and was a graduate of Churchill High School. She was a member of the Churchill Baptist Church and sang in the choir. While living in Clute she attended new Life Church and was a long time caregiver for her grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Franks and Mr. and Mrs. Elisio Rivera and her uncle Reno Rivera.
Laura is survived by her parents, Douglas and Helen Franks; brother, James Franks and wife Linda; nephews, Jason and Joshua Franks and nieces, Sarah and Shelby Franks; special aunt and caregiver, Janie, Paul and cousin, Philip Zapata. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins throughout Texas.
