LaVerne (Iby) Ridder passed away February 3, 2012 to join her loving husband, James H. Ridder. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 9, 1924 to Henry and Edna (Menck) Natho. Iby was in the Brackenridge drum and bugle corp, enjoyed traveling, bowling, and spending time with her many friends and family. She was a fourth generation member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a life time member of Herman Sons. She is survived by her nieces: Susie Smith, Cindy Gale, Debbie Ridder, Mary Jennings and Linda Ridder and nephews: James Natho, Bill Ridder and Larry Ridder. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to American Cancer Society or Christian Assistance Ministry. Visitation will be Monday February 13th at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road, from 6 to 8pm with services on Tuesday, February 14th at 10am with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston.
