Laveta M. Cummins, 83, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2008, in San Antonio, TX. She was born on July 13, 1924, in Wingate Texas, to Albert and Vera Parrish Curry. Laveta was a long-time former resident of Cisco and a faithful member of Mountain Top Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Cummins, and step-daughter, Dinah Wells.
She is survived by a son, Jim Harris and wife Linda; three step-children, Darlene Cummins, Charlene McMillian and husband, Pint; son, Rod Cummins and wife Cheryl; two grandsons, Todd Harris and wife Rosanne, Trevor Harris and wife Heather; six grandchildren, Shayla, Cody, Zachary, Dillon, Noah, and Sean; also a number of step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a twin sister, Juanita Ellis; a sister, Doris Hallmark and husband Billy, and a number of nieces and nephews.
