Lawrence G. Balcar, age 78, of San Antonio has gone to be with his Lord March 7, 2002. He was a WWII Veteran and was decorated with a Purple Heart. Mr. Balcar was employed for 43 years with Frontier Enterprises. He is survived by his wife, Velma Balcar; son, Larry G. Balcar, Jr. and wife, Kathy of Adkins, TX; daughter, Debbie of Spring Branch, TX; grandsons, Troy A. Balcar and wife, Karen, Keith J. Balcar and wife Noel, granddaughter, Kristin L. Balcar, great-grandson, Zachary Balcar, great-granddaughter, Hannah Balcar; great grandson, Lane Balcar all of Adkins, TX; sisters, Gladys Hooge of Poteet, TX, Evelyn Montegomery of San Antonio, TX; Delores Jenkins of Poteet, TX; numerous nephews and nieces.
