

Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Carbone, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Worcester, MA, to parents, Angelo Carbon and Theresa Stellato Carbone. Larry served in the US Army in W W II in Europe, and saw action in France, Belgium, Germany, and Czechoslovakia with the 7th Armed Infantry. He fought at the Battle of the Bulge and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantry Badge. Larry was a avid collector, enjoyed travel and loved people most of all. A devout Catholic, he was never afraid or timid, and took life as it came.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Angelo and Theresa Carbone (Worcester, MA) his beloved wife Pearl Ray Carbone (San Antonio, TX) siblings; Grace Baldino (Worcester, MA), Laura Baranouskas (Worcester, MA), Rose Keith (Pamplico, SC), Joseph Carbone (San Leandro, CA), and Anna Soloperto (Stuart, FL), his great grandson Samuel Dibrell, and dear friends Evelyn & Ferd Wirth. Larry is survived by his son Billy Ray Hindt (Diana), his grandchildren, Sandra Hindt Dibrell (Brad), Hollie Marie Hindt, Lawrence Hindt (Kathy), Brian Ray Hindt, Ginny Dixon, Garrett Hindt (Amanda), former daughter-in-law Carol Lee Wright (Charles), and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private graveside service with Fr. Kevin Shanahan, M.S.C. officiating will take place at a later date, followed by interment with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
