

Larry was born October 26, 1929 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Lawrence and Mary Clark. In July 1949 he married Evelyn D. Janneson, of Chicago, IL.
Larry served in the Army and the Army Reserve for 35 years during the Korean and Vietnamese Conflicts. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) from the Army Reserve.
Raised a Methodist, Larry joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1967 where he served faithfully in many callings, including, Missionary, Temple Worker, Bishopric and Branch Presidency, High Councilor, and Teacher.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn; his children: Gary S. Clark, of Tempe Arizona, Susan A. Slack, of San Antonio Texas, and Kelly A. Garland of Colorado Springs Colorado, and his sister, Sharron Pettingill of Wilsonville Oregon. He also has 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children, Scott and Douglas, and his brother, Thomas.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 10 2015, 12:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 645 Knight's Cross, San Antonio, Texas for all those who wish to attend.
Casket Viewing will be available 1 hour before the service.
Graveside services for immediate family, and Interment, will be Monday, August 10, 2015, 2:00 pm, at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78209
