Lawrence Joseph Dvorak, born September 6, 1938, in Clutier, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the age of 84. Lawrence moved to San Antonio with his family when he was ten years old. He attended St Mary’s University receiving his bachelors of Business Administration. “Sir” Lawrence worked as a DECA teacher at Harlandale and Samuel Clemens High Schools and also JC Penney’s department store.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Eleanor Dvorak; wife, Agnes Dvorak, brothers, Richard Dvorak, Donald Dvorak and sister, Jane Cranmer.
He is survived by his son, Markell Dvorak; daughter in law, Brenda; grandchildren, Samantha, Daniel, Stephen, and Jadyn Dvorak, step grandchildren, Amanda, John, and Emilee.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 pm Monday, July 31, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
