Lee Dr. Harris

Lee was welcomed into Heaven on May 7. He was the beloved husband of Chita and the father of Justin Harris [Marti], Stephen Harris [Linda], and Daniel Harris [Laura]. He was blessed with nine grandchildren and many family members and friends. Lee was born in Kilgore, Texas on March 24, 1934 to Hazel and Raymond Harris.

His parents preceded him in death. He is survived by his sisters, Averil Bradford and Ramona Cooper [Bud], and his cousin, Tom Harris [Alene]. Lee's motto was "Keep Smiling". He graduated from Baylor University's School of Dentistry and the U.T. Dental Branch in Houston. In addition to his orthodontic practice, he was on the faculty of the U.T.H.S.C. Dental School.

His charitable heart was evident in his volunteer involvement in the Optimist Club, Youth for Christ, Trinity Baptist Church, Methodist Hospital's Blue Birds, and dental organizations.

The celebration of Lee's life will be Monday, May 15 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 319 East Mulberry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to sagenome.net for cancer research or to trinitybaptist.org/give.
