Leo W. Gredell passed away April 8, 2011. Born October 18, 1925 in Keokuk, Iowa, Leo joined the Navy in 1943 and served in the Pacific. After the war, Leo spent his life developing his wonderful artistic talent as a portrait photographer. He enjoyed telling stories about his many travels throughout Texas as a road photographer for Gittings Portrait Studio. Leo’s beautiful compositions and elegant poses have graced the memory of numerous family albums. He was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church Men’s Club. He was a loving husband, father and brother. Leo is survived by his wife, Bobbin, daughters, Mary Ashley McGibbon and Jennifer Menard; son, Paul Gredell and his sister Waleska Edwards and brother George Gredell. He was proud of his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 10AM at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
