Leo E. McRee, Jr.

Leo E. McRee, Jr., age 62, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Wayne McRee; maternal grandparents, Luke and Erna Wilson; paternal grandparents, Dan and Dolores McRee; and his special aunt, Norma Smith; and his beloved 19-year-old cat, Simon. Leo is survived by his mother, Mary McRee; father, Leo McRee, Sr; and many, many dear friends.

Leo was born in San Angelo, Texas and was blessed with a personality as big as Texas along with a best friend list just as large. Leo never met a stranger and was highly respected. He was a licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Texas and spoke fluent German and Spanish. Languages came easy to Leo, and he even spoke some Russian. Leo will be truly missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.

The family would like to give special thanks to Leos best friends, Roger Kent and Brendan Murnin. As well as the incredible staff at Vitas hospice and the fifth floor ICU team at University Hospital.
