Leo and I were roomates in Crete from May 1961 till Nov. 1962. We also played on the base baseball team that competed in the US European championship.  We were close friends after service for many years. I just learned of his  passing after several years. My deepest condolences to all the members of his family.

Leo was such a buddy and friend and fellow athlete in high school. He is still missed today. We wish the best for the family and love ones.  Each one is in our thoughts and prayers.

I served with Leo in USAFSS, Hof Germany. We worked together in data processing. We also played on the base softball team. He was a mentor to me and taught me a lot. I always respected Leo and wished we could have reconnected after the service. I’m glad he enjoyed his life and my sincere condolences go out to Carolyn and his daughters.

So sorry, Leo was such a great man.  And always good for a laugh. 😢🙏

So sorry for your loss.  I'll never forget Leo's laugh.  We had great times refereeing basketball.

Leo and I worked together at Security Hill (USAFSS) for years.
Leo was a person that always did right toward people.  He loved his Dallas Cowboys and would let you know if you spoke bad about them.  He was a hard working individual and we were very good friends.  He will be missed.

Leo was a best friend in HS and beyond.  We joined the military together.  Leo was an American hero and loved by his family and friends. The family is in our thoughts and prayers. Wayne and Martha Pike

Uncle Leo was a great man with a great since of humor. I remember  him asking me Chuck whats your favorite football team. I said Redskins. He walked out of the room and came back with his little Cowboys bobble head  doll that he kept in his bedroom. He sat it down infront of me on the coffee table where I was sitting and went and sat down and looked at me, and looked back at the doll then looked back at me. I was lost at this point. One of his daughters I cant remember who it was now but she said thats what he does to people that comes over and the Cowboys are playing a football game that dont like the cowboys. I dont believe I left his house that day with a favorite football team.  😂 He took me to some sporting events he was a referee at. Took me and brother fishing in his boat. Alot of other great memories. And let me tell ya he could cook the best brisket I ever ate. He was a one of a kind. God Speed Uncle Leo.

It has always been so entertaining to sit back and watch and listen to Leo and Perry discuss politics (on which they agree and were happy to be verbal about !) and then switch to sports ( on which they did not always agree!) Leo will be greatly missed.  Love, Debbie and Perry
