
He was born January 11, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Eddie and Sayde Goodman.
Upon an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, Leonard entered into the packaging business in Massachusetts. In the mid-1990's Leonard operated River City Paper in San Antonio. He remained active in his business dealings until 2005.
Leonard was an avid angler. He spent many years fishing off the coast of the Bahamas. He truly enjoyed the peace he found on the open waters and all the friends he made along the way.
He is survived by two sons, Eddie and his wife Michele of Destin, Florida, and Ralph Doughty and his wife Denise of San Antonio; one daughter, Laura Goodman of Westford, Massachusetts; eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Adam, Melvin, Kelvin, Taylor, Edward Tyler, Jessica and Madison. Finally, he leaves behind a very special friend, Diana Sherman, whom he loved very much.
Leonard will be dearly missed by family and friends.
